Job: Manager – Syndication

Position Reports to: Senior VP – Business Development & Digital/Syndication Key responsibilities: 

• Revenue responsibility: To ensure that Syndication targets are met for the financial year by syndicating content owned by the network to other entities
• Planning a smooth marketing plan for MIPCOM by planning for the marketing collaterals for MIPCOM, Coordinating stands, meetings, etc.
• Promoting content through the Syndication website, emailers, Audio-Visuals, Fliers, Merchandise, etc.
• Operations and Client Servicing: Monitoring operations activity of getting the content transferred for client delivery, Maintaining the screeners for clients, AVs, Showreels for International exhibitions
• Internal coordination: Coordination with the Legal team for rights management and agreements, legal issues. Liaison with the programming teams for information on programmes and content. Coordination with library and post-production department for on-time content delivery
• Business Development for Syndication: Look for new avenues in syndication like Regional Syndication and Home Entertainment business
• Team leadership: Manage personnel in the syndication team for effective  functioning of the function

Attributes & Skills required: 

• Knowledge of syndication/licensing content, primarily in the Middle-East and APAC markets
• Primary knowledge of international broadcasting
• Client management skills essential
• Relationship management skills to maintain effective working relationships with all relevant stakeholders
• Candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in the field
• The candidate should have handled a team in the past
